This maternity session was especially meaningful because it took place right next to their adorable cream-colored brick house tucked in the pines of Northern California—the same place where I photographed their engagement session a few years ago. Their story has grown and changed, but the location has remained a constant thread through every season of their life together.

Now that their son is here, these photos feel even more precious. They’ve become a time capsule of that expectancy—the tenderness, the excitement, and the way they already loved their baby before they’d even met him.
